So obviously I could spend the money and get an IAG shortblock or something of the sort but has anyone experimented with just rebuilding the fa20 with better internals and such? If so do you think it is cost efficient (trust me I know these platforms aren't actually cost efficient lol) what kind of torque and horsepower were you able to get out of it?
Is it just me or is anyone else having difficulty finding an Omni Power MAP Sensor (5 bar)? Iโve already purchased twice just to be told they were on back order. On top of that it seems all the standard parts outlets are out of stock as well.
That being said, does anyone have one of these for saleโฆ new or used? Mine somehow has been damaged and itโs only operating at 0.6v - 0.8v at idle which is throwing off my fuel trims.

So my car currently has catless downpipe, cold air intake, boost control, fmic and dw300. Looking to go stock location turbo upgrade any recommendations for that. Heard about few FP blue and socal. Any one got those on?? Hows there experience and what are the dyno results?
Every one has SoCal and boost lab, I want to be different lol so I went with steamspeed gen2 71R gen2 ball bearing turbo. Good for a set up 400-500 hp
Tuned by the goat him self power hits between 2.5k to 3k depends on fueling

Yep, id recommend outfront bottom end. Better machining and blueprints, quicker turnaround! Can do it but in the end doesnt save much money at all compared to rebuilding it yourself. Id rather let the people that have done - probably - 100,000 of these engines than a local shop who might have only built a few. The experience and track record is worth any price difference, which would be minimal anyway
