THE E-TUNING PROCESS

** For those new to e-tuning or tuning in general, there is no guesswork as everything is clearly laid out and explained with first e-mail ! **
The E-Tuning procedure is very straightforward. Make sure to properly list the modifications you have done to the vehicle, at the time of purchasing the e-tune. You can also include if you want the car tuned conservative, aggressive, or for fuel economy. Once the order has been placed, you will receive an initial e-mail with a few documents with tons of info along with the basemap and initial instructions. The first tune is usually quite conservative to make sure the engine and all sensors are properly functioning . This is done as a preventative, diagnostic phase to ensure the car is ready for strenuous tuning activity. Once properly flashed into the ECU, you can follow the instructions provided in the e-mail. This could include cruising, idle, or even wide open throttle driving - while simultaneously datalogging those tasks. Once the requested action is performed, you will send the datalog in an e-mail reply to the basemap e-mail and wait for a revision and further instructions. This process, depending on mods and if there are any issues, can take anywhere from 4-10 datalogging evolutions. Most instructions will be provided by the e-tuner or heavily explained in the first batch of documents/instructions, if any issues or questions arise you can reply to the latest e-mail for a response. We are cognizant of our clients busy schedules so the e-tuning process is extended to 30 days to account for variables we all face day to day or until tune is deemed complete by the tuner. Any modifcations done to the car while e-tuning will require a map update.
